ORIGIN

Located in the lush coffee-growing regions of Naranjo and Alejuela, Cloza Estate is a fourth-generation family farm that has been cultivating exceptional Costa Rican coffee since 1970. Today, the estate is managed by Kathia Zamora, who spent over two decades modernizing her parents' micro-mill while preserving their agricultural legacy. Beyond producing incredible specialty microlots, Kathia is a founding board member of the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) in Costa Rica. Through her leadership and the estate's official Women Care Certification, Cloza Estate actively champions the empowerment and advancement of women in leadership roles throughout the coffee supply chain.
