This coffee was processed at a wet mill in Woreda Hambela Wamena called Hassen Ware, which serves as a collection site for the local farmers to sell their coffee. Most farms in the are very small with less than 1 hectare of land, often 500 trees or so planted. The altitude around Hassen Ware ranges from around 1850 - 1950 meters above sea level. This is a fully washed coffee that has been sorted started with the whole coffee cherry, all the way to the final green, hand sorting employed all along the way.
